Thermal laminate has a glue pre-applied to the OPP film on the side that is laminated to the paper or board, the laminate is heated during the application to activate the glue. Thermal lamination is approved for direct contact food use and is also referred to as Food Safe Lamination. Lamination is widely used in both the commercial and packaging print industries.
